Census Self-Enumeration
With Census 2027, a new chapter of digital transformation is beginning in India.
Self-Enumeration is a secure, web-based facility available in 16 regional languages. Through this feature, individuals can fill in their details online at their own convenience—prior to the enumerator’s door-to-door visit.
As in the past, enumerators will continue to visit every household in all designated areas to collect information; however, Self-Enumeration serves as an additional facility that further simplifies public participation.
To participate in Self-Enumeration, individuals can log in to the official portal, se.census.gov.in, using their mobile numbers and necessary details. Upon successfully submitting their information, a unique Self-Enumeration ID (SE ID) is generated, which must subsequently be shared with the enumerator for verification purposes.
Be a part of this historic initiative and contribute to building India’s data-driven future.
